You don't need faces to feel the love.

I’ve been told I take a lot of photos without people’s faces in them.
It’s true. It’s not a mistake—it’s kind of my thing.
Because sometimes, you don’t need eyes to see the emotion,
or a smile to feel the love.

The curve of a shoulder, the grip of a hand, the way fabric folds—
that’s the story. That’s the feeling.
Heads are optional. Drama isn't.

My gorgeous bride Kelly.

Gosh, what a weekend that was! Kelly & Anton celebrated their love in the countryside of Portugal. 3 days filled with so much love and laughter.

I've seen my fair share of men who absolutely adore their soon to be wife, but Anton was something else. He kept admiring Kelly while we took some bridal photos after their first look and I could hear him say to himself 'wow'. I laughed a little and asked if he was okay. He was (is) the epitome of a man in love.

I can't wait to show you more of this 3 day wedding. A welcome paella party, a ceremony under an old oak tree, speeches and tears, a stunning table, a sun soaked pool party and most importantly - a couple that made me feel so welcome during their special weekend.

How has it already been a year since I photographed on the other side of the world? It's such a cliché to say time flies but it's true. I've been to so many beautiful locations and captured lots of amazing couples the past 5 years.

Let's go back to October of 2020. I had been photographing professionally for about a year but was still pretty new to the wedding scène.

Right before covid broke out I started an internship with Kimberly from (I studied event management). At that time she was planning the wedding of Tom & Sander and she decided to give me a chance to let me photograph their wedding. Of course we all know what happened after. Everything got canceled because of covid.

Tom & Sander's big wedding turned into a small and intimate day with their closest friends and family, exactly how I like it. It was a day filled with love.

Personally this was a very difficult time for me. I had crippling anxiety and chronic stress and ended up in the ER at the end of the summer because of this. Tom & Sander was the first wedding I photographed after this and it felt so scary, but they were just the sweetest couple.

Not long after, I decided this is what I want to do - full time. I finally found what I was supposed to do. Capturing your love, that's what makes me happy.

I'm eternally grateful for this wonderful opportunity!
