Sometimes, the simplest appointments turn into the most unexpected encounters.

What started as a routine meeting for an identity photo became the chance to meet a remarkable artist. I feel incredibly privileged to have been invited to photograph and witness a creative process that is both unique and deeply captivating.

I wanted share a first glimpse of these images of a behind-the-scenes look at this process.

I can highly recommend discovering more about this method, which, suffice to say, this is a method from the 1920's and unique to Michel Bernard today.



Michel Bernard has an exhibition in Zug next week, and I cannot wait to take some more photos on his return!

Local friends, this is a great initiative by the ORSAC Le Clos Chevalier in Ornex (if you don't know this is a wonderfully run residence for seniors).

The vernissage is this Thursday at 16h30 and you are free to go in and look at the exhibition as indicated on the flyer.

The ORSAC Clos Chevalier, I have discovered, regulary hosts artist and musicians as a way of bringing art into the residence for those that cannot otherwise get out to appreciate it. It is such a wonderful initiative, and it was a pleasure to go there and meet them to hang some of my local photos.

What's more the vernissage will be prepared by the residents.

Sharing my latest workshop reportage.
This intimate atelier with "Les Thérapies de Sandrine" felt as much like immersion as it did observation.
A true pleasure to meet her, understand her craft, and quietly witness the rhythm of her creative space.
In reportage, I’m reminded every time: become familiar with the person and the environment—observe first, then feel the room… and only then take the photos.

Cet atelier intime avec "Les Thérapies de Sandrine" relevait autant de l’immersion que de l’observation.
Un vrai plaisir de la rencontrer, de comprendre son savoir-faire et de témoigner, en toute discrétion, du rythme de son espace de création.
En reportage, je me le rappelle à chaque fois : apprendre à connaître la personne et son environnement — observer d’abord, ressentir le lieu… puis seulement photographier.

Feel first. Then frame.
Ressentir d’abord. Cadrer ensuite.

Today, editing branding photos and looking out at the sun returning ☀️

Finding shapes in buildings, colours, textures - portraits, and moments full of energy and movement.

I always enjoy a classic base
with a quiet twist of originality. ✨

If you wonder where your next photos are coming from? 📷

I’m launching a social media photo package very soon to help keep content current.

Instead of one big photoshoot, the idea is:
✔️ a handful of new photos every month or every two months
✔️ natural images that feel real and current
✔️ content that evolves with the season

Photo trends for 2026 are all for feeling real and current and changing things regularly, as a reaction to the perfection of AI photos in some cases.

Here are two of this month’s photos for . Two very different looks in one quick session.

The next mini-session will be at the end of March, capturing images that begin the shift toward summer content ☀️

Branding photos need a bit of planning — but not too much.
I like to leave room for things to happen naturally.

The first photo here was actually taken at the end of the shoot.
I wanted to see how the picture on the wall would work as a background…
and the hat just happened to be hanging on the clothes rail.

Les photos de branding demandent un peu de planification, mais pas trop.
J’aime laisser de la place pour que les choses se déroulent naturellement.

La première photo a été prise à la fin du shooting.
Je voulais voir comment le tableau au mur fonctionnerait en arrière-plan…
et le chapeau était simplement accroché au portant.

Les collaborations qui durent sont toujours les plus précieuses.
Apprendre à connaître les personnes fait toute la différence et aide vraiment à créer des images plus justes et plus naturelles. 📸

J’ai le plaisir de photographier des clients de
à la fin des coachings, et cette fois nous avons également créé quelques images de branding pour elle.

Parmi les photos de la séance (d’autres à venir), c’est celle-ci qu’elle a choisie pour accompagner un article de magazine.

J’aime toujours découvrir quelles images résonnent le plus.

J’ai été vraiment ravi d’être contacté pour réaliser les photos de ce bel événement ! 📸

Si vous allez chaque année à la Fête de l’Oiseau à Saint-Genis, il faut savoir qu’il y a une formidable équipe derrière l’organisation.

Être impliqué dans la vie de la communauté est vraiment important pour moi.

Petite note technique — au-delà des défis de la photographie en basse lumière — je ne saurais trop insister sur l’importance de vérifier la forme physique de votre photographe d’événement !

Et si vos photos de début de soirée se prolongent jusqu’aux petites heures du matin… vous serez heureux de savoir que ce photographe est plutôt couche-tard. 🌙
