May has always been one of my favorite months. It offers a perfect balance—no longer touched by the chill of winter, yet not overwhelmed by the heat of summer.Everything just feels lighter and more alive.

As a wedding photographer, May feels especially special. Even though the season technically starts in April, May is when it really begins to pick up, and you can feel the excitement of a new wedding season in the air. It’s the start of so many beautiful celebrations, and I always look forward to everything this month brings.

A few months prior the engagement session, Vinh proposed to Sian here in Paris… so there honestly couldn’t have been a more meaningful place for their engagement session 🤍

We all traveled from Copenhagen to capture this chapter of their story in the city where it all changed for them. We photographed their sunrise session with the Eiffel Tower quietly glowing in the background while Paris was still waking up, and later wandered the streets at sunset, surrounded by the most beautiful golden light.

Paris truly feels like pure art in every direction. The architecture, the atmosphere, the romance of the city — it’s the perfect backdrop for a love story like theirs.

There’s something incredibly special about documenting people in a place that already holds so much meaning to them. These photos feel like memories wrapped inside memories.

Last year in the heart of France’s Lorraine region 🇫🇷 , I had the honor of capturing something truly unforgettable 🤍

Caitlin & Fabian’s wedding day felt like it was written straight out of a love story. The skies threatened rain all morning, quietly building suspense… but somehow, it held back — as if the day itself knew how special it was meant to be.

As they stood in front of a timeless French château, promising forever to one another, everything around them seemed to fade away, leaving only that moment and the love they share.

And then came the emotions… the kind that don’t need words. Every guest shared in it — eyes glistening, hearts full, not a single dry eye in sight. Happy tears quietly falling, wrapping the entire day in something so real, so deeply felt.

Their story makes it even more special — they met in Italy just as Caitlin was about to leave and move to another country… a moment that could have been an ending, but instead became the beginning of everything.

Their love, their kindness, and the incredible energy of everyone there is something I’ll carry with me for a long time ✨

Going through these photos again and I can still feel it all — the quiet anticipation, the laughter, the way the light wrapped around every moment 🤍

Maryhill Estate gave us the most beautiful backdrop, but what truly made the day unforgettable was the feeling. The way the guests leaned in a little closer during the vows, the tears that turned into smiles, the energy on the dance floor that no photo can fully capture — but somehow still lives in each frame.

That’s the magic of photography to me. It’s not just how it looked, it’s how it felt. And this day… it felt like something really special.
