I am an lifestyle, travel & nature photographer living & working in SW France. I like my wedding photography to be natural and beautiful.

I try to avoid staged or formal settings, although sometimes this is necessary. I prefer to record events in a mix of reportage, candid and classic style; working when possible quietly and unobtrusively in the background.

Biscarrosse Plage in November, bright and cold, perfect for a walk along the beach with the dog. We only saw one surfer, very brave, most others were content with a walk. 🌊☀️

The last evening in L’Isle sur la Sorgue revealed the Angle sculpture at the front of the Collégiale Notre Dame des Anges. I liked the silhouette with the woman on her phone and this was my last holiday photograph. We had a great time exploring Provence with our friends Ian and Bev.

The Collegiate Church of Our Lady of the Angels in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is an exceptional monument due to the richness of its interior decoration. It is a major example of Baroque architecture in the South of France. An extraordinary monument whose austere façade belies the richness of its interior decoration: large canvases by the finest painters, statues, wall decorations, carved woodwork, an exceptional fifteen-meter-high altarpiece adorning the entire choir, and 222 angel figures to accompany Mary to heaven.

With its unique atmosphere and Provençal charm, Lourmarin is one of those villages that leaves a lasting impression. Surrounded by enchanting landscapes, it attracts visitors with its cobbled streets, art galleries, and above all, its majestic Renaissance château overlooking the village. It’s listed as one of the Beautiful Villages in France and it does not disappoint. We enjoyed a lovey lazy lunch there with friends, perfect.

What started as a sunny Sunday morning in Provence turned into an afternoon of thunderstorms. All we could do was move from bar to bar for shelter. L’sle sur la Sorgue certainly delivered on a rainy Sunday afternoon and some 5 hours later its was still pouring with rain. Turned into a lazy but very damp day.

We are living in a tree house this week with wow views of the Lot valley. The view keeps changing due to the weather as these two sunrise images show.

Had a couple of hours visiting the Saint Martin de Riberac Car Show, near Riberac today. Lots to see, eat and drink but 30C heat made it a hot afternoon out. Loved the drive there and back in Myrtle the Mini.

5 mins walk from our accommodation is the Passerelle des Aubarèdes. It’s a bridge walkway across the river Dordogne with hydraulic gates to control the water flow and there is a safe route for the fish to use. It’s very noisy but provides beautiful views of the river and banks. # 🇫🇷 🇫🇷

The small town of Entraygues-sur-Truyère in Aveyron forced us to stop and take in this view. Dating from the 10th Century this is a picturesque town with its old houses with thackstone roofs, and its castle fort situated at the confluence of the Lot and the Truyère. 🇫🇷
