I am an lifestyle, travel & nature photographer living & working in SW France. I like my wedding photography to be natural and beautiful.

I try to avoid staged or formal settings, although sometimes this is necessary. I prefer to record events in a mix of reportage, candid and classic style; working when possible quietly and unobtrusively in the background.

Attended Saint Martin de Riberac car show on 4th July. It was a very hot day with temperatures above 35C. Even so there was lots of fantastic cars, all shapes and sizes. Mine is the 67 Mk1 Mini. A drive out took us into Riberac for a coffee. It was a great event and well organised. Well done Route 709 team.

We attended the Périgueux Auto Rétro Show on 29th March 2026. It’s a weekend entirely dedicated to classic cars and motorcycles, legendary models, and automotive passion. Never easy to photograph cars that are grouped with people walking past, but I was pleased with these five.

Castelnaud-la-Chapelle is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. Dominated by the 13th Century castle and enjoying a tranquil riverside beach, it is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France and well worth a visit. Just be prepared for a steep walk up through the village to the Castle.

The Château de Castelnaud is perched 150 meters above the Dordogne Valley, this 13th-century fortress offers a spectacular panoramic view and brings history to life as the home of the Museum of Medieval Warfare. The walk up@the very steep@path through the village was difficult but it was worth it. 🇫🇷

We had a short break in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle as a result of Michelle having a wedding booking at a local Chateau. We were surprised early morning by the roar of gas heaters and opened the shutters to witness numerous hot air balloons passing by. Not everyday you witness that from your bedroom.

Biscarrosse Plage in November, bright and cold, perfect for a walk along the beach with the dog. We only saw one surfer, very brave, most others were content with a walk. 🌊☀️
