Hot take : a wedding photographer’s job isn’t to create beautiful images. It’s to capture real people having real moments, and make them beautiful.
On this feed, I share two worlds that belong together : styled shoots where I express my artistic vision, the way I see things, the way I feel. And real wedding moments, raw and alive.
Why both ?
Because the artistic work builds my eye. It’s a visual expression of how I experience things. And beyond the images themselves, it matters that we share the same vision, because when I photograph your wedding, I don’t just show up with a camera. I bring a way of seeing that is entirely my own.
But alongside that, I want to show you real life. Because being a wedding photographer isn’t about creating beautiful images of models in controlled conditions. It’s about capturing the essence of a day, and rendering it through your own eye.
Any photographer can produce something beautiful. With the right location, the right light, the right couple, beauty is almost inevitable.
The harder thing is capturing what’s true, and making it beautiful at the same time.
Aesthetics without emotion is just decoration. Emotion without aesthetics is just a snapshot.
I refuse to choose between the two. And I don’t think you should have to either.
