Built as a “garden for music” — and every petal is made of glass.

The Sala Lluís Millet at the Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona. Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner and inaugurated in 1908, it is the only concert hall in the world declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The towering stained glass windows — bursting with hand-crafted floral mosaics — look out onto the building’s famous colonnaded balcony, flooding every surface with colour. Architecture doesn’t get more alive than this.

600 years of discipline, still marching in perfect step.

The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul — a reenactment of the Joseon Dynasty’s Sumunjang guard tradition, first enforced in 1469 under King Yejong. The vivid blue robes are traditional Hanbok uniforms, faithfully recreated from the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty. The mountains of Bugaksan rising behind the palace walls are a reminder that the kings of Korea built their power at the foot of something greater.

Where every street corner is someone’s masterpiece.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence, perched above the French Riviera, has been drawing artists for over a century — Picasso, Matisse, and Chagall all wandered these same cobblestone lanes. The cobbles themselves are laid sideways in traditional Provençal style, brought in from the nearby beach at Cagnes-sur-Mer in the 1950s. Some things are just too beautiful to walk on.

A thousand voices hang in silence — until the wind decides to speak.

Fūrin wind chimes fill the corridors of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kyoto. Each bronze bell carries a wish written on paper, swaying above visitors dressed in yukata on a summer afternoon. Built on a hillside in the Higashiyama mountains, this 8th-century Buddhist temple has been whispering to the wind for over 1,200 years.

One surfer. One wave. One perfect diagonal cutting through the wild West Coast.

Te Henga — Bethells Beach, New Zealand. Just 40 minutes from Auckland, yet a world apart. The Māori name “Te Henga” refers to the long foredunes that resemble the gunwale of an upturned waka (canoe) — but from above, it’s the ocean itself that carves the lines.

It’s time to get back on the horse and publish some long-due images that I’ve kept secret for far too long. Life has a way of keeping us busy, but art deserves its moment in the light, and I’m ready to share mine again.

Over the past months, I’ve captured moments, details, and emotions that have stayed hidden, waiting for the right time to be shared. My wife has been lovingly sharing some of these through her writing that breathe life into my images. Her words add a depth I couldn’t have imagined, and I’m endlessly grateful for her perspective, make sure you have a read over hers

Now, it’s my turn to join the conversation, to reconnect with this community, and to share my world the way I see it. Stay tuned for some of my favorites, some surprises, and hopefully a fresh perspective.

As I am writing this from my hotel in Osaka, I thought it would make sense to share an image from Japan.
This first one is a detail image of the Golden Pavilion in Kyoto. I am in absolute love with that city! It is still very authentic and home to about 2000 temples and shrines. Needless to say there is a fair bit of exploring to do...

Thanks for sticking with me—I can’t wait to start this journey again. Let’s go. 🚀✨
