The Abandoned Juvenat ๐a_exp
This institutional building was constructed in the early 1950s. Managed by religious brothers, it served as a secondary school for boys. Alongside core subjects such as French and mathematics, students also received religious instruction and Christian moral education intended to guide some toward religious life. The building also included a chapel where daily masses were held.
The institution closed in the early 1990s due to the decline in religious vocations. The brothers continued maintaining the property for several years before eventually selling the land and building to a local couple. Around that same time, the bodies buried in the small cemetery on the property were exhumed.
Today, the juvenat has been abandoned for nearly 25 years. Despite the passing of time, the building remains surprisingly intact and surrounded by silence.

Ce bรขtiment institutionnel fut รฉrigรฉ au dรฉbut des annรฉes 1950. Gรฉrรฉ par des frรจres religieux, il servait dโรฉcole secondaire pour garรงons. En plus des matiรจres de base comme le franรงais et les mathรฉmatiques, les รฉlรจves recevaient une formation religieuse et morale chrรฉtienne afin dโorienter certains vers la vie religieuse. Le bรขtiment comprenait aussi une chapelle oรน des messes รฉtaient cรฉlรฉbrรฉes quotidiennement.
Lโinstitution ferma ses portes au dรฉbut des annรฉes 1990 en raison de la diminution des vocations religieuses. Les frรจres continuรจrent dโentretenir les lieux pendant plusieurs annรฉes avant de vendre le terrain et le bรขtiment ร un couple de la rรฉgion. ร cette mรชme pรฉriode, les corps du petit cimetiรจre sur le terrain furent exhumรฉs.
Aujourdโhui, le juvรฉnat est abandonnรฉ depuis prรจs de 25 ans. Malgrรฉ le temps, le bรขtiment demeure รฉtonnamment intact et plongรฉ dans le silence.
