Montrouge, la pluie. Par Bozena Urban, huile sur toile, 2017. / Paris is still very much a city of artists, and a city of affordable original art. I love the accessibility of it all, and I love sharing this with my clients. Many of these artists have day jobs because they are not yet living off their art, but they continue simply because they just can’t stop. Because images need to surface, colors need to find each other, textures are reaching for fingers. Because there are things to be said, celebrated, and felt beyond everyday words. is one of these artists. I love her pensive landscapes, the depth of her colors, her fauvist strokes, and her ability to be frank yet tender. Drop in to see this painting and a little selection of her work in the shop if you’re in town :)
