Five years ago, Anastasia & Alessandro reached out to me for what turned out to be the most fun couple shoot in Paris. I never expected that a single shoot would turn into a friendship, but here we are, all these years later, still close.

Two weeks ago, these two beautiful souls invited me into their casa in Lisbon, to capture something even more intimate: a gathering of the people they love most, family and friends all in one room, celebrating life together.

Moments like this remind me how lucky I am to call this my job, that it’s given me friendships this real, ones that keep going long after the shoot ends. I’m endlessly thankful, for the trust, the friendship, and getting to be part of your journey, friends!

“Comme une évidence, ce couple de New-yorkais, qui s’est rencontré au sein de l’hôtel The Knickerbocker à Times Square, où elle, officiait en tant que responsable du marketing, et lui, en tant que directeur culinaire, a choisi, comme décor de leur mariage, la ville la plus romantique du monde : Paris. Capitale des amoureux dont le couple s’est épris l’an dernier, à l’occasion de leur voyage de fiançailles qui suivait une demande en mariage imaginée par Adam dans les caves privées de Ruinart, à Reims, au milieu des roses (encore elles) et des grands crus : “Ce voyage de fiançailles était ma première visite à Paris, et j’en suis tombée complètement amoureuse : sa beauté, son architecture, son histoire, sa culture, et la façon dont la ville semble transformer les moments ordinaires en scènes de cinéma.”

The ceremony unfolded beneath the golden light of a late summer afternoon, where soft pastel hues shimmered with every ray of sunshine. Standing before a stage that retraced their journey, from New York and London to Sydney, Australia, Paige and Kris stepped into the very moment that had been waiting for them all along.
Their vows carried a quiet kind of honesty that filled the entire ceremony. Every word spoke of gratitude, every promise felt lived before it was spoken. Through tearful smiles and trembling voices, everyone witnessed a love shaped by kindness, patience, and the quiet choice of showing up for one another, again and again, no matter the distance, no matter the time.
Maybe that’s what fate truly feels like. Not simply finding each other, but meeting someone worth crossing every ocean, every time zone, and every season of life for.
