This year I had the chance to be part of several exhibitions, the latest one was « PORTRAITS OF THESEUS » curated by . It was a nice exhibition to end this year in which I made several projects on the paradigm change that is happening in the photography world with the rise of AI.

It’s an exhibition exploring the philosophical boundaries between image and perception. Through the lens of the Ship of Theseus paradox—wherein an object gradually loses its original parts until its identity is questioned—artist Alexey Chernikov invites audiences to ponder the essence of an image. Does the core identity of an image persist, or does it evolve with every manipulation, every pixel replaced? By embedding generative AI into traditional photography, Chernikov encourages viewers to engage with questions of originality, perception, and the reliability of what we call ‘authentic’ in the digital era. In a culture often fixated on the ‘original,’ Chernikov’s work asks us to reconsider why we prize it so highly. With AI as a key tool, he deconstructs images until they walk the line between familiarity and distortion, challenging our trust in what we see.

This was the initial idea of the whole shooting: take the Mondrian dress and combine it with coloured plexiglass as if parts of the dress were just flying around. Thanks to we managed to get more from it by adding new looks but jeeping the same idea.

"Day 55 - Groundhog day". During this two months I had the feeling to live the same day over and over again.
➡️ Yesterday was the final day of quarantine for me, 55 days at home, and now I am on my way back to Geneva 💥Let's just hope that things will be only better in the next few months.
