Incredibly honored and thrilled to announce that this image has been selected for the ‘2026 Junebug Weddings Best of the Best Destination Collection’! Out of thousands of submissions from all over the world, it was chosen as one of the final 50 images.

Years ago, when I was just starting out, I remember scrolling through the Junebug Best of the Best collections with so much awe and admiration. The work felt so out of reach. If anyone had told me back then that my own name and work would be published on that same list one day, I would have laughed in disbelief. Yet, here we are. (Still awkwardly laughing in disbelief.)

Documenting elopements means stepping away from traditional rules and focusing on what matters: the unfiltered connection between two people. It’s about stripping away all the noise, the expectations and the stress to create an authentic and intentional experience. Choosing to celebrate your love this way is a brave choice for any couple. Being able to capture that exact bravery and intimacy in environments as grand as a glacier cave, is exactly why I fell in love with this job.

Huge congratulations to all the insanely talented photographers who made the list this year. I’m beyond honored to stand beside you.

A massive thank you to the judges and the Junebug Weddings work alongside so many photographers I deeply admire.

And of course, to Inne and Wietse: thank you for your trust, your kindness, your enthusiasm and your sense of adventure. I wouldn’t have wanted to stand (/layed) there staring at the ice with anyone else but you two. I’ll swing by JOSÉ for a glass of champagne soon. 🥂

Head over to the link in my bio to see the full collection!

Cheers to M&M for doing things their own way. 🪩🕺🏻

Started the season on a high note: I’ve won a Way Up North Award!

is one of the biggest communities in Europe, celebrating the very best in wedding photography and filmmaking. To be recognized among the industry’s greatest talents definitely isn’t a bad way to kick off the new season.

A big thank you to the jury and, most importantly, to the couples who trust me with my (occasionally weird) ideas.

2026 wedding season let’s gooooo!

There’s a very specific kind of silence that only exists when you wake up long before the rest of the world.

For V&C’s elopement, we woke up before dawn to hike up in the pitch black. We watched the blue light slowly turn into golden hour right after we arrived at the top - perfectly timed for their vows. (And worth every minute of lost sleep.)

A bit of texture on the feed, ‘cause why not.

Last week was World Glacier Day. Glaciers worldwide are retreating at an alarming rate due to global warming. Experts predict that if we stay on our current path, all European glaciers could be gone by the end of this century. The glacier cave where I took this photo will probably already be gone by next winter.

Glaciers are one of the most beautiful and fascinating things on this planet to me. So I urge everyone who still reads Instagram captions (😅) to do what they can to protect what’s left of them!

Living in a country with no mountains means getting creative with what we have and finding beauty in the most unexpected places. (Like this very photogenic pile of…coal.)

Little shoutout to B & T for trusting me and my rather unconventional location suggestion for their Adventure Session. 🤝🏻🫶🏻
