Opening Night — Part 1 ~ People & Encounters

巴黎首次個展開幕之夜。❤️

這一晚對我來說，不只是一次展覽開幕，而是很多不同階段的創作、人物、記憶與關係，終於在同一個空間裡相遇。

今次個展由三個不同的創作計劃組成，透過攝影、紀錄片與視覺藝術，從不同角度探索身份、女性、多重自我、親密、愛、自由與轉化：

✦ Whispers of Dream Chasers《女人心：追夢者的低語》
以一位女性在現實、表演、記憶與想像之間流動的多重自我為核心，結合攝影與紀錄片影像。

✦ LGBT LOVE, FREEDOM be Ourselves
透過巴黎 LGBTQ+ 真實故事，談身份、愛、可見性、韌性，以及活出自己的自由。

✦ The Secret Garden of Her Soul《她靈魂的秘密花園》
以藝術裸體攝影探索女性身體、親密、慾望、脆弱與內在轉化。

很開心《Whispers of Dream Chasers》的女主角 Lok Kan Cheung 能夠和我一起站在作品前；亦很感謝《LGBT LOVE, FREEDOM be Ourselves》的參與者來到現場，讓作品裡的人重新走進作品所在的空間。

這一晚亦很榮幸接受香港劇場導演及戲劇教育家鄧樹榮 Tang Shu-wing 老師的紀錄片訪問，分享我自己作為在法國巴黎香港創作者的經歷與文化身份，也很感謝他親臨展覽現場。

看到三個 project 真正掛在牆上，再看到曾經和我一起創作、一起經歷這些故事的人站在作品旁邊，是一種很難用一句話說完的感動。

很高興與大家分享一個重要的里程碑！
我的 Fine Art 攝影系列《The Secret Garden of Her Soul》，正式獲選為 2026 International Photography Awards (IPA) Official Selection。

作為攝影師，我一直希望透過影像，不只是呈現人物的外在，而是探索光線、情感與內心世界之間的連結。很高興這個系列獲得國際評審的肯定，也鼓勵我繼續走在 Fine Art Photography 的創作道路上。

I'm delighted to share an exciting milestone in my photography journey.
My fine art photography series, The Secret Garden of Her Soul, has been selected as an Official Selection in the 2026 International Photography Awards (IPA).

As a photographer, I hope my work goes beyond portraying the human body. Through light, emotion, and quiet storytelling, I seek to explore memory, vulnerability, and the inner landscape of human experience.

I'm deeply grateful to the IPA jury for this recognition, and to everyone who has supported my artistic journey.
The final award results will be announced in late August, and I'll be happy to share any further updates.

有些地方，還未有人走進畫面，已經開始訴說故事。
🇨🇦在加拿大安大略省 Oshawa，我發現了兩個充滿詩意的地方：
🌸 CA Peony Garden ☕ The Tea House at Parkwood Estate
作為攝影師、電影導演與視覺藝術家，我一直喜歡尋找那些讓自然、建築、光線與人物情感自然相遇的空間。
我可以想像情侶在花園中漫步、一起享用下午茶、慶祝求婚、婚姻，或只是靜靜地留下屬於彼此的回憶。

我相信，每一個地方，都有屬於自己的情感節奏；而影像，只是把那些原本存在的故事輕輕記錄下來。

Some places begin telling stories long before anyone steps into the frame.
During my visit to Oshawa, Ontario, I discovered two beautiful locations:
🌸 CA Peony Garden ☕ The Tea House at Parkwood Estate
As a photographer, filmmaker and visual artist, I am always drawn to places where nature, architecture, light and human emotion come together naturally.
I can imagine couples walking through the gardens, sharing afternoon tea, celebrating a proposal or marriage, or simply creating quiet moments that become lasting memories.

I believe every place carries its own emotional rhythm, and photography is simply a way of preserving stories that are already there.

作為攝影師、紀錄片導演及 Visual Artist，我一直相信，影像可以記錄的不只是婚禮，而是一段人生。

我亦希望透過 Unique Couple，陪伴更多華人及亞洲 LGBTQ+ 伴侶，在加拿大展開屬於他們的合法婚姻旅程，並透過影像，把這段重要的人生經歷化成值得一生珍藏的故事。

對不少伴侶而言，海外合法婚姻，不只是浪漫。
它也可能代表法律承認、伴侶權益，以及終於可以坦然地說：
「這就是我們。」

我希望，無論透過攝影、紀錄片，還是 Unique Couple，每一個作品、每一段旅程，都能讓更多人相信：

Sometimes, an image is about much more than a wedding.
As a photographer, documentary filmmaker and founder of Unique Couple, I believe that what truly deserves to be documented is not only the ceremony itself, but the journey of two people choosing to walk through life together.

Through Unique Couple, I hope to accompany more LGBTQ+ couples from Chinese-speaking and Asian communities as they begin their legal marriage journey in Canada, while transforming this important life experience into a meaningful visual story they will cherish for a lifetime.
For many couples, an overseas legal marriage is about more than romance.
It may also represent legal recognition, partner rights, and the simple freedom to say:
“This is who we are.”
