Ils sont riches, partent souvent en voyage. Ils sont inutiles, n’ont plus de désir où encore ils sont aigris.

Ces clichés sur la vieillesse, on les a tous déjà entendus. Parfois même pensés.

Pour les 80 ans des , j’ai eu le plaisir de réaliser « Vieux clichés », une exposition qui interroge avec humour les stéréotypes sur les personnes âgées. En mettant en scène des personnes accompagnées par l’association, nous avons voulu ouvrir un regard plus juste, plus vivant et plus libre sur la vieillesse. ✨

We’ve all heard these clichés about old age. Sometimes we’ve even thought them ourselves.

For the 80th anniversary of , I had the pleasure of creating “Vieux clichés,” an exhibition that humorously challenges stereotypes about older people. By featuring individuals supported by the organization, we sought to offer a more accurate, vibrant, and open-minded perspective on old age ✨

✨ Boxing Queens at the Festival ✨

My series « Boxing Queens », which highlights young Tanzanian female boxers, will be exhibited at the Festival Les Photographiques starting this weekend! 🥊📸

After several weeks in Mexico, I made it back just in time for the opening, which will take place this Saturday. I’m excited to share this project with you and exchange thoughts around these images! 🎉

This week, an excerpt from my project Boxing Queens, dedicated to young female boxers in Tanzania, has found its place in the pages of L’Équipe Magazine. This 8-page portfolio shines a light on these inspiring athletes and their determination.

A heartfelt thank you to the boxers for allowing me into their world, sharing not only their training and fights but also their hopes, challenges, and life stories. 🙏

I also extend my gratitude to the Alliance Française of Dar es Salaam, the French Embassy in Tanzania, and the Tanzanian Boxing Federation, who made this artistic and human journey possible.✨

Ashura, 24, is a tanzanian boxer. She started boxing a year ago to learn self-defense. Today, she wants to make it her profession. Coming from a traditional Muslim family, she has overcome her family’s lack of understanding. Winner of the first women’s final organized by the Dar es Salaam police academy, she envisions a promising career and has set herself two years to go professional and join the military boxing team.
