🚶♂️ Another weekend, another Tokyo neighborhood discovered.
As part of my personal mission to explore every corner of this incredible city, I finally spent some time wandering around **Koenji** — and I think I may have found another local neighborhood to add to my favorites. ❤️
What I love about places like this is the feeling of discovery. Small independent shops, vintage stores, tiny cafés, local restaurants, and those hidden corners where you can feel the real rhythm of Tokyo.
Of course, Koenji also has a few places where my inner otaku wakes up… and where my credit card suddenly becomes much lighter. 😂🎮📚
But that’s exactly what makes Tokyo so fascinating. Around every corner, there is something unexpected waiting to be discovered.
One of the most surprising things I found was a series of **gacha-gacha machines where you can win photos of wanted criminals**. 😂
Only in Japan can you turn a strange and slightly mysterious concept into a fun little collectible experience.
These are the neighborhoods that remind me how lucky I am to live in Tokyo. While many visitors only have a few days to see the most famous places, living here gives me the chance to slow down, get lost, and discover another side of the city — one street at a time.

🚶♂️ またひとつ、東京の街を発見しました。
「東京のすべての街を歩いてみたい」という自分の小さなミッションの一環として、週末に高円寺を散策してきました。そして、ここもまたお気に入りのローカルな街のひとつになりそうです。❤️
こういう場所の魅力は、歩くたびに新しい発見があること。
個性的な小さなお店、古着屋さん、カフェ、地元の人が通う飲食店……東京の日常のリズムを感じられる場所がたくさんあります。
もちろん、高円寺には私のオタク心を刺激するお店もありました。そして気づけば、クレジットカードが少し軽くなっているという…😂🎮📚
でも、それこそが東京の面白さだと思います。角を曲がるたびに、予想もしなかった発見があります。
今回特に驚いたのは、**指名手配犯の写真が当たるガチャガチャ**を見つけたことです。😂
少し不思議でミステリアスなものまで、楽しいコレクションにしてしまうところが、まさに日本らしい魅力だと感じました。
こういう街を歩くたびに、東京に住んでいる幸運を改めて感じます。
旅行者として数日間訪れるだけではなかなか見つけられない場所を、時間をかけて、自分のペースで発見できること。
