Palermo, Sicily, 2019.
Cheers to the times we never even heard of social distancing and going out in the sun was still a thing.
I had a photographic hubris in Sicily and shot as if it were my last days on Earth so more posts might come!
In September 2019 my long time no see friend Camille reached out to me. We hadn’t met since high school, 10 years ago. She now lives in Bruxelles and me in Paris. She was having a hard time with her life, and I was just finishing a quite boring job contract. We decided to meet in Sicily, rent a car, and see what happens.
1. Glimpse of a wedding in front of Palermo’s cathedral
2. My friend Camille, enjoying the November sun in Park Villa
3. An old man we chatted with in Park Villa. He was ok that I take his picture but said I’d better photograph the beautiful sceneries around.
4. Massimo theater, touristic heart of the city with its usual tourists, accordionists and passersby
5. Two kids on a bike with a certain sense of fashion
6. Palazzo delle Poste, a beautiful and terrifying remain of the fascist era.
