1,000 days. 💔
It has now been 1,000 days since the genocide in Gaza by Israel began.
For 1,000 days, Israel has tried to strip Palestinians of even the smallest moments of joy. Yet every smile, every celebration, every act of resilience reminds the world that an unbreakable people cannot be defeated.
One of those rare moments came through football. ⚽️ Egypt's win brought genuine and rare happiness to Palestinians in Gaza, and seeing those smiles changed the way I look at the game.
I'll keep cheering for Egypt, not because I've become a football fan, but because whatever brings joy to our people in Gaza is just worth it.
