MW Art Enterprises

MW Art Enterprises Portrait, lifestyle, (personal) branding photography on film. Life is short; share your story. Do it well. Bonjour! I'm a self-proclaimed flâneuse.

My goal is to help you choose beauty and invite joy into your everyday. I'm Marissa- film photographer, writer, and passionate Francophile. My artistic focus is the female portrait, and I believe that love is to "reveal the beauty of a person to herself." I also enjoy photographing children, love stories, and (personal) brands. Please talk to me about Wes Anderson, Audrey Hepburn, color theory, fl

owers, skirts with pockets, and in French! When I'm not documenting others' stories, I'm off on my own, accompanied by my Hasselblad, Ansel; Rolleicord, Cecil; and Nikon, Norman. We're a crew, and we can't wait to help you tell your story!

Our Story

Bonjour! I'm Marissa and I am an artist, Francophile, and writer. I love skirts with pockets, double scoops of ice cream, and bookshops. The idea of heels is nice, but I prefer ballet flats for trekking across Paris’ cobbled streets.

I am a (film) photographer living and learning in the city of light this year...with giant hopes to stay forever! You can often find me strolling with Norman, my film camera, searching for beauty. I have taken too many (if such a concept exists) photographs of flowers; classical architecture makes my heart flutter; and I will photograph that pastry on film!! I have a passion, above all, for creating portraits of women.

When I look in the mirror, I admit the first thing I look for are all the things I don’t like about myself. And I do this when people photograph me, too. I look for everything in the photo that I don’t like.

BUT. I believe a few things.
