Inspiration comes from everywhere.
It comes and goes too.

In 2014, I did a whole portrait series about that moment when you're half awake, half alseep. It was shot on film, using double exposure. Then it's like I forgot double exposure existed.
Until I met which I thank for reminding me the fun and mystery of double exposure (slide 6 if you're curious)

I'm inspired by all the amazing women in our women photographer collective .e.s_ 🔥 all of them have taught me new things ❤️
I'm inspired by .story.hero to own the slowness of my process and putting all my crazy ideas into all the shoots I do
I'm inspired by music and cinema. Even if I barely watch any movie nowadays, I've seen so many that I feel it infuses my work.
I'm inspired by all forms of art, by nature, by people, by shadows on a sidewalk or a spiderweb sprinkled with dew.
I've always been a pensive and observant person and my job has made it sharper even.

I'm inspired by love and light, always, and I will tell you more about these beautiful humans' deep and bright love

Yipeee ! This is how happy I am right now - and proud - that I've posted these beautiful people's wedding on my website 🤩

It's so much work to keep on top of everything, especially communication, especially when things are difficult.

How f*ucking stylish are these two tho ?
I'd say the perfect amount of parisian cool and classy 🤘🔥
It was trust at first sight with Flavie & Antoine and I loved how intimate their wedding was.
Drinks in their courtyard, dinner at the Italian restaurant downstairs, as sweet and simple as they are 🤗

Mum - Portrait of a woman
I've done so many intimate portraits lately, it suddenly occurred to me I had not done proper portraits of my Mum in years. And never intimate ones.
And so I asked her and she said yes immediately. She was relaxed and confident during the short night session.
She said she felt good about herself, loved all the photos I showed her.
To quote her "now that I'm old, I think I look good"
And she can't understand how she felt so ugly when she was younger.
We all fight so hard to accept who we are, it's never too soon and never too late either.
