leur admiration pour cette harmonie entre l’Homme et la nature. Dans le prolongement des 8 livres publiés, à la manière d’un almanach,
le cycle des posts quotidiens correspond à la Génèse de cette création : l’eau, la terre, le feu, l’art de bâtir, vivre ensemble, transmettre la vie, action de grâce...

L’eau
L’immense et unique voile triangulaire du boutre est hissée avec son antenne au sommet du mât. Voile traditionnelle en Mer Rouge et dans l’Océan Indien appelée voile latine en Méditerranée . Mer Rouge 1993.

الماء
شُرعت أشرعة الداو الضخمة والفريدة ذات الشكل المثلث إلى أعلى الصاري مع ذراعها. ويُستخدم هذا الشراع التقليدي في البحر الأحمر والمحيط الهندي، لكنه يُعرف باسم «الشراع اللاتيني» في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط. البحر الأحمر، 1993.

The water
The dhow’s enormous, unique triangular sail is hoisted to the top of the mast along with its yard. This traditional sail is used in the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, but is known as a ‘lateen sail’ in the Mediterranean. Red Sea, 1993.

TRANSMETTRE LA VIE
S’habiller d’une couleur vive tout en se dissimulant, ou pas, derrière un voile. La parure est une protection. Vive le rouge vif, voyant, éclatant.

دورة ﺍﻟﺤﻴﺎﺓ
ارتداء الألوان الزاهية مع التواري خلف حجاب، أو من دونه. فالزينة شكل من أشكال الحماية. يحيا الأحمر الزاهي، اللافت للانتباه، المتلألئ.

VIVRE ENSEMBLE
Le zébu avec sa bosse réserve de graisse est gardé à demeure avec attention et grand soin jusqu’à être nourri à la main de bouquets de sorgho entourés de luzerne.

ﺍﻟﻌﻴﺶ سويا
يُحتفظ بالثور الأحدب، بما يختزنه سنامه من رواسب دهنية، في الموقع، ويحظى بعناية فائقة واهتمام كبير. ويُطعَم باليد حزمًا من الذرة الرفيعة ملفوفةً بالبرسيم.

LIVING TOGETHER
The zebu, with its hump of fat deposits, is kept on-site and receives great care and close attention. It is hand-fed bundles of sorghum wrapped in alfalfa.
