Despite everything, we’re still celebrating the girls’ birthday!


The air raid siren went off around 10 times while we were having drinks.

In the Kyiv region, the air raid siren has been sounding almost non-stop for the second day. Rescuers are working under the constant threat of repeated attacks. Since they started their work, the siren has sounded 20 times.

Firefighters have to stop putting out fires, take shelter, and then return to work once the danger passes.

Today is Ukraine’s Independence Day! 35🇺🇦❤️

I’m posting this photo, thinking about how everything around us keeps getting harder.

I never thought I’d have to live through a war. I’ve almost forgotten what life was like without air raid alerts. But I believe that one day I’ll be able to show my children the real, peaceful country — free of the Russian filth that’s been poisoning not just us since 2014, but Georgia and Moldova too, and now reaching into the Baltics, Poland, and all of Europe.

Thanks to UNITED24Media , I was invited to this event in Kyiv, where I met so many people I’ve known since the very beginning of the full-scale w@r, but honestly never thought I’d actually meet in person.

It was also one of those rare, beautiful sunny days in Kyiv when, somehow, we were lucky enough not to hear a single explosion. Having people from all over the world come to Ukraine for an event like this makes you realise just how powerful international support can be.

We also got to see Zelenskyy, which was obviously pretty surreal. But, honestly, one of the people I was most excited to see was José Andrés — the chef and founder of World Central Kitchen an organisation that has been doing incredible work feeding people affected by w@r and disasters around the world.
