International Mother Language Day is celebrated every year on February 21 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and to raise awareness about the importance of mother languages. While special events, campaigns, and cultural activities are often organized.
Paris, 21 February. The International Mother Language Day and Shaheed Dibash was observed with due respect and fervour at the famous General Conference Hall of UNESCO and at the Bangladesh Embassy premises today. To mark the occasion, the Bangladesh Mission in Paris organised three programmes on the day.
