"A Monet Moment in Paris"

Springtime in Paris isn't just about the Eiffel Tower, it's about the quiet explosions of color hidden in the city's parks.

Taken on May 4, 2016, at the Parc Floral de Paris. The contrast between the chaotic carpet of red poppies and yellow blooms against the white hedge felt like stepping directly into an Impressionist painting.

Capturing Water as Crystal

Back in May 2016, I spent an afternoon at Parc Floral de Paris in Vincennes working with high-speed shutter dynamics against François Stahly’s iconic stone fountain.

Frozen in time, the water stops feeling like a liquid and turns into thousands of tiny, glowing crystals against the heavy, static silhouette of the stone.
