Yesterday I drove to Cocoa Beach to take a few photos of Indian River, a 121-mile-long lagoon in Florida, which suffers from nutrient pollution.

Governor Rob DeSantis signed into law Tuesday a proposal aiming to improve water quality across the state. You can read Marlowe Starling’s story here:

Yesterday I had the privilege of covering “the Red Lancers” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 10 returning to NAS Jacksonville after a two-month delay in Japan due to the coronavirus.

This wasn’t like the usual homecomings. Families who normally wait in the airports with signs were asked to stay in the parking lots. When the squadron landed, their temperatures were taken and they were asked to self-quarentine for the next two-weeks.

Covid-19 greatly impacted St. Augustine, a city relying heavily on tourism. Most of the businesses there are closed. Some restaurants remain open for takeout only.
