Have you ever heard of Stendhal Syndrome?

Ever since I first heard about it, I’d been fascinated about the idea of going to Florence. A city so beautiful and full of art that people supposedly feel dizzy and overwhelmed?

When I visited a couple months ago, the city was as beautiful as I’d expected, but weirdly, it was not in front of a Botticelli or a Michelangelo that I felt my heart racing… It happened when I walked into Museo Marino Marini.

I was obsessed with the project by architects Bruno Sacchi and Lorenzo Papi, who transformed an old church into a museum dedicated to the sculptor Marino Marini. Every detail framed the sculptures perfectly. Every curve, every line felt carefully thought through. I left with hundreds of photos, here are some of my favorites.

En avril, je suis allée à Florence pour la première fois et je suis tombée amoureuse de ses tonalités chaudes, de l’art partout dans la ville, ainsi que de son architecture et de son histoire !

Pendant ce voyage, j’ai eu l’occasion de tester le Sigma 16–300mm F3.5–6.7 monture Fuji X (), une expérience qui m’a poussée à regarder la ville différemment. Passer d’une vue d’ensemble à un détail lointain, d’une scène de rue à un élément architectural presque caché, m’a permis d’explorer Florence avec un regard renouvelé ✨
