Tattooing has always felt like a responsibility to me, as it should.

It’s an ancient practice that has endured not because it was necessary, but because it gave people a way to express identity, beauty, belonging, honor, and selfhood.

I’ve always felt a relentless pull to keep expanding, to explore, to question, to discover what comes next, and to deepen my relationship with this craft.

I think every artist owes it to themselves to follow the things that spark curiosity. To indulge the smallest traces of novelty. Time spent exploring is never wasted. We leave with a more refined compass, a clearer understanding of ourselves, and inevitably, our work evolves with us.

For me, travel has always been one of the most powerful ways to cultivate that. Stepping outside of what’s familiar creates space for new perspectives, new conversations, and new ways of seeing. Every place leaves something behind, and every journey changes the way I return to my work.

This summer I’ll be back in Europe not just to tattoo, but to continue exploring where this practice can take me.
