“Social media was made for connection not destruction.”

As my sister and I continue to engage on here, we see that it has become easier and easier for people to press post with the intentions of hurting, or with the lack of consideration towards the implications of their actions.

If you find yourself feeling like you’re in this crowded room of social media where everyone has something to say, but very few listen, we encourage you before you write your next post or story to take a moment. Take a deep breath, and remember social media was meant for connection, and not destruction. So set some boundaries, protect your mental health, connect wisely, and reach out to us if you need anything at all. ♥️

Sometimes the amount of information social media provide us access to can cause us to feel so small and powerless.

This is a reminder that you were NEVER intended to carry it all by yourself. We post on social media as a way to say “Hey, I’m in this with you.”

You little empathic bean, take some time for yourself today. Know that social media will be here waiting for you when you are ready for more.

If we could sum up this last year of our life in one word it would be: ✨lonely✨

Social media can be a deceiving place at times. With both of us having a very progressive year as far as our career and overall self development goes, still, we both have struggled to find people that we feel truly understand us. We’ve never spent more time praying, wishing for people to come into our lives that WANT to grow and connect with us. However, you might not guess this when looking at our personal social media accounts.

This is a sign to never forget that social media is NOT real life. Life is filled with pain, heartache, disappointment and grief as well as all the sweet things in life. Sometimes it feels like there is something wrong with us if we’re not constantly having “incredible experiences”but let us assure you there’s not. Welcome to being a REAL human.

What word describes your year ? ♥️

What's your target audience?

Years ago when people would ask me what was my target audience I felt so perplexed by the question. “Why would I pick just one group of people when I want to speak to EVERYONE?!” I would think to myself.

Then I took some marketing classes and discovered the simple yet hard truth that if you attempt to speak to everyone, you will inevitably speak to no one. I also experienced this the hard way. 🙃

If you feel similar to how I used to feel ask yourself these questions to begin narrowing down your ideal audience!

1. Who am I drawn towards?
2. Who is drawn towards me?
3. What do these people like and dislike?
4. What do these people need?

Hopefully this helps, you amazing entrepreneur !! ❤️❤️

When Jordan and I were in the initial stages of our business, everything seemed so exciting. Though as the reality of the work load hit us, we quickly learned the importance of good partnership. I solely believe this aspect of work has the power to make or break your business. Here are some of our thoughts.

Jeeze, has it really been a whole month since we posted?! This time has been a crazy mix of extreme ups and downs. Posting got away from us. But here is a little update on our little lives:

Jordan caught a case of covid (or co-veena we call her in our house) for her birthday, that was fun. 🙃 while Lily, has been doing a little extra inner healing work recently which is just as real and tiring as any other physical pain.

However, despite all that, we have been working with some new wonderful clients! It has been our delight to hear the hearts of passionate, caring, genius entrepreneurs.

Lastly, SOME EXCITING NEWS; we’re are lowering our prices!! We’ve decided our hearts long to see up-and-coming entrepreneurs have access to impactful marketing tools and have their vision properly displayed for the world of social media to experience. See our service menu in our bio!

Love you all, Jordan & Lily ❤️

Rad, awesome, hip.

The words of generations. Lately we’ve been hearing many different stereotypical words or phrases that describe people of a certain generation. These words or phrases often point out things that are seen as weaknesses or flaws in each group by the others, which causes division and bitterness.

But in the spirit of love, we encourage each one of you to not give into this division. Even when some of the stereotypes feel true and weighty to us, or even if people of other generations really hurt us, we choose to try to understand, grow, break cycles, and heal in every direction.

By taking such brave actions, not only are we becoming better personally, but we discover that there are actually some very valuable things that we can learn from each other.

Ya know what social media is not a great place for? Discovering a concrete truth.

But what it is better for; developing a compassionate understanding towards every kind of human being.

Is it possible for conflicting truths to co-exists? In our opinion, yes! This is why we need each other to share in our perspectives of the truth. In this way, we have the opportunity to create something better, more unifying and bigger then ourselves.

We find this when we decide to approach social media with our pride low and our empathy high.

Social Media is an opportunity to unite us or divide us. Which one will you take?

HEY FRIENDS!

I’m Lily, the other half of Joie & Jolie Co.

Here’s a little something about me that may come as a surprise. I actually struggled with social media for a long time. Like many people, I struggled to find purpose for it, to find real connection, and to find my place in it during a time when people were so extremely divided. So I made the decision to delete all of it.

Though that was a very sobering season for me, I started to develop a passion for using social media responsibly, intentionally, for good purpose, and to help people do all of this as well. You see? As a 2w3, ENFJ, my biggest passions are people, relationships, and connection. So, not only did I return to social media, but after lots of education and hard work, launched this business with my sister, which has been one of the best decisions I’ve made! Obviously, I’m more than excited to work with wonderful people like you! If you have any questions about social media, inspiration to suggest, or just want to connect, hit me up! 😉💛

Helping people help people. What does that mean?

First, let us ask you these questions. What does your heart long for people to know? What is the gift you want to offer the world?

Do you ever feel so passionate about something that could really change a person’s life, but you find yourself lacking the ability to organize how to distribute that information, product, or service? Lacking time and focus but not necessarily drive? Your vision huge but your resources low?

Well this is where we come in. Helping you help others is our honor and delight. We want the world to see and experience YOU. All that you are and have to offer in such a way that perfectly represents the wonderfully unique human you are.

Balance is something we really value at Joie & Jolie. We believe it is one of the keys to living a happy and full life. Balance consists of things that may look as though they’re opposites, but they actually complement each other perfectly.

One area we like to practice balance in is our work to rest ratio, and when we say rest, we don’t just mean sleep. Rest can mean having quality time with a safe friend, taking time to do a light hobby, like painting, or listening to your favorite playlist.

We know how important work is, especially to those who love what they do. However, in order to prevent burnout, we encourage you to set a healthy work to rest ratio, if you haven’t already. Not only will you learn to cherish your time of rest, but when you return to work, you will hopefully return with a fuller heart and a refreshed mind.
