"Above all, I like to walk through the streets aimlessly and become attentive to everything around me: the people, the light, the colors, the reflections, the movements, the little details… After a while, when you truly let yourself go, you can see poetry everywhere. And sometimes, with a bit of luck and a lot of patience, a photograph can reveal it all.
When I walk through the streets, I don’t want to have to think too much about my camera, the settings or the technical side. I like it to remain instinctive. Simple, discreet, and efficient, the GR allows me to stay focused on the moment—whether I’m carefully framing an image or capturing a fleeting scene".

"What excites me about photography is the unveiling of the beauty and often sublime which is not always apparent to the fleeting glance. My aesthetic is one that hopefully pleases the senses and evokes positive reactions. My inspiration comes from urban environments where the hustle and bustle of everyday life often hides the hidden beauty which lies beneath the surface. My pictures are meticulously composed of light, lines, shapes and negative spaces. They are often geometric, sometimes border on abstraction, all this to create unique moments in time. My approach is deliberately minimalist, to stripe away the “noise” of the real world and leave only the beautiful.
The Ricoh is my constant companion. It is so small that it fits easily in my pocket and I have come to regard it as an appendage to my hand. I don’t have to think about it. My only focus can be on self-expression".
