I kept that secret for 6 months 🤯
Elena first discovered Mika a few years ago and instantly fell in love with his catchy songs. She never missed a Saturday of watching The Voice France just to see him. She loves that he speaks both French and English, just like her.
For months, she begged me to take her to see him. When I found out he was touring in LA the same week we had to travel there for my husband’s work, I knew I had to make it happen 😭 She had no idea he was even in the States, so when she saw him on the poster, she thought she was going to see a movie!
The best part is that she had written him a letter weeks before, without knowing she would actually get to see him, and asked me to mail it. I brought it with me and was able to give it to him through his amazing videographer.
Watching her realize her dream was the best feeling. I would have given anything to see my favorite singer at her age, especially one who is no longer here.
I’m just so happy I could make this happen for her. Core memory 🩷 Merci
