Where it all began.
In 2017 Richi Arambarri from Vintae | Compañía de Vinos asked me if I wanted to take pictures at the yearly Vintae W**e Fest.
A themed party, in the heart of Rioja where w**e lovers were invited to raise their glasses to Richi’s birthday.
I had just started to take some pictures with w**e and doing things a bit different. At Vintae they also loved to do things differently. Thinking outside the box of traditional w**e marketing.
They were the first to believe in me. The first photography gig I had outside of Catalunya.
This event is greatly where Drinkinmoderation started.
Richi and I did a shoot in a red w**e fountain. A memorable moment of celebration that later made it to the front page of Decanter, but that is for another story.
What started as a birthday party grew out to be the biggest w**e party in all of Spain.
I share some pictures of the different editions throughout the years, with themes from The Great Gatsby to The Roman Empire. In a few days the next edition of Vintae W**e Fest is up (theme is Mexico!) and I am excited to take some photos again. See you all there 🍷
