Amy & Fraser 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇫🇷

They’re from Scotland and got married in France.

Twenty of their closest people, Nouvelle-Aquitaine sunshine, and wonderful food and wine. This one was different in the best way, small enough that every toast felt personal, every interaction had actual conversation instead of small talk.

The highlight for me: a river cruise where they had their first dance and speeches out on the water. Golden light, everyone crowded round, zero dance floor required.

A change of pace from the bigger weddings, no rush, just people who genuinely love each other surrounded by the ones who know them best.

Rosie and Dan have this way about them, fun, warm, completely unpretentious, and it showed in everything, right down to the venue they chose.

From that first video call, I could tell their taste matched their energy, and Château Soutard, all stone and vines in the heart of Saint-Émilion, felt like the perfect extension of who they are.

I’d actually tasted the château’s wines long before I ever imagined shooting a wedding there, camera and drone in hand. So when the call came through, there was really no version of me saying no.

But it was the day itself that stayed with me most. Their closest family and friends showed up and simply were there, dancing without self-consciousness, laughing without performing for a camera, completely present. The kind of guests that make a photographer’s job feel effortless. And really, really fun.

Session studio avec Karine.

2 heures, plusieurs décors, et une palette qui s'est imposée naturellement.

La lumière studio a vraiment sublimé les matières de sa tenue et conservé ce rendu doux et homogène sur chaque cliché.

Le vert sauge et le crème de son look qui font écho aux verts tropicaux derrière elle.

Parfois, tout s'aligne à la perfection. 🌿
