For the past two years, I've been caught up in up-leveling and raising my business into a high-end market. Not for fame or recognition, but because I need to live from my work, and my previous prices and business model didn't allow me that. But in this process I have lost sight of things. Trying to fit into a box and match codes. I followed trends and put my focus on things that don't align with who I am.
I've realized it this year and it's been a wonderful feeling of relief and freedom.
I don't care about the brand of your shoes or dress. But wow, how incredibly inspiring when they look fantastic and stylish on you. I what a joy when they reflect your true identity and vibe!
I don't care about how fancy your venue is, or how many followers your planner has. But how wonderful when you get married a place where you feel at home. How freeing when you feel taken care of by your staff and can focus solely on enjoying your time and guests.
I don't care about the perfect pose, the dress laid down to the millimeter. Because what is more beautiful than a burst of laughter or an in-between moment telling a true story?
It doesn't matter how much money you put in your florals, your caterer, your dress. What matters is what and how you feel. What matters is that your wedding reflects your true identity and allows you to live the most amazing moment of your life, with the people you care about the most, with intention.
