Just a coot chilling at the lake after a hectic day at the office.
I'd like to thank this coot for helping me and other photographers in the fight against the algorithm. Hopefully, more than 3 people might see this post.🙂

I love wildlife, but can I be arsed stalking it for hours on end waiting for the perfect shot? Absolutely not.
So here's a lazy photo of some random bird I have yet to learn the name of. It literally swam into frame as i was photographing something else and ties in nicely with my previous post, making it look like I'm organised enough to stick with a theme.

Zero effort photography is a genre I could really get into.😁

They like to 'say shoot for the moon, even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars'.
But in reality, you're more likely to explode on the launch pad because you asked chat gpt how to build a rocket, and space travel is much harder than it looks on TV.

Jupiter ascending.

A cold and blustery trip to the coast back in November revealed Jupiter reflecting in the rock pools at whitby as it rises through the air glow.

Cassiopeia star cluster rising with the northern tip of the milky way.
I had no idea there was a faint red aurora on the whitby horizon when i was taking these images. It only became visible when i looked at them on my laptop, which was a pleasant surprise when editing.
It almost made up for running over a deer whilst driving home from the location at stupid o'clock in the morning. Thankfully, the car and I survived the incident, the deer, not so much. 😬

Well it appears it's goodbye to the Unimog at spurn. This truck has greeted me on every adventure at spurn beach and has been a test bed for new camera equipment and photography techniques for many years now.
Sadly the is no longer at spurn and has moved on to new adventures. Long live the Unimog.
