Haven’t posted in a while—been deep in the darkroom, finishing up a few projects.

This one’s home turf: Ipanema, the beach I grew up on. I’ve been shooting the kids and characters there for years (slide 2 has casting notes from 2009). Some now and then portraits too…

Ipanema has always been part of Rio’s cultural and social DNA—a stage where all sorts and sorces mix.

15+ years on, the world’s once again catching on to Rio’s beach flavor, with global brands chasing that Rio -youth - estilo. It’s not the first time its energy’s been bottled and exported, and it won’t be the last. Fun to see other photographers coming to play in my sandbox. It’s a wrap Paris ! It’s been an incredible week catching up with old friends and diving straight in to Paris Photo. Also proud to have the epilogue pilgrimage for North Shore in Europe. The final 5 copies are signed and available in Paris exclusively at . The book is now officially sold out and into the rare category. Maybe someday we’ll do an updated second edition, but for now happy to move on to other projects that coming out soon. PRINT SALE - A few more images to the list. People are asking me what are “ test prints “ So, Test prints are color experiments from my darkroom process. Basically try outs that I run until I find the perfect balance. They are one of a kind, not edition prints. I’ve saved boxes of my favorites over the years. I’m pretty exited to announce that I’ll be in Hawaii in Feb and there will be a final event with prints book signing. The book is pretty much sold out so this is the last batch of books that I’ve been saving for Hawaii for 3 years now. Stay tuned for updates.
