Scale of Existence ✨

The Milky Way has a way of putting everything into perspective.

Those driftwood structures almost look like something built on purpose like an old monument left behind. But standing there under the winter night sky, you realize how small we really are compared to what’s above us.

I included myself in the frame to show that scale. Not the size of the wood… the size of us.

Moments like this don’t feel real. Just silence, stars, and the feeling that the universe is much bigger than our everyday worries.

Milky Way Above Snowbound Ridge 🤩

I've been waited for this opportunity for years ! I finally could go stargazing above the highest road in Europe with snow!

It's very hard to make this image. First the road has to be accessible. Then you need a good clear night without the moon out. Finally you need snow on top.

Shooting the Milky Way core over this snowy summit is almost a once in a year opportunity. So happy we could make it and the sky gave us a nice Airglow !

Alone With the Universe — Captured in La Palma’s Salt Flats

Just me, the salt flats, and the entire galaxy above and under 🌌

This self-portrait under the Milky Way was taken in the surreal Salinas of La Palma — a place where you can see the stars and the Milky Way mirroring on the salt flats. No composites here. Just patience, planning, and the magic of post-processing. We got luck with almost perfect conditions ( no wind, clear and no calima )

Milky Way Over The Pebble Towers 🌌✨

I spent this night completely alone on the coast, stacking stones to create some depth in the quiet while the sea whispered in the dark. Out on the horizon, that glowing island held its ground beneath a rising Milky Way, and I just stood there in awe.

What makes this image feel otherworldly isn’t just the stars—it’s the faint green airglow above the horizon. It’s our atmosphere reacting to solar radiation, glowing softly while most of the world sleeps through it.

These nights remind me why I keep doing this. Why I stay up, hike out, and wait in the cold. Because sometimes Earth and Sky line up and give you this kind of magic.

Orion Flames Above The Cold Peaks 🔥❄️

The Winter Night Sky season is almost over but i have one last image to share from the Pyrenees Mountains.

The Orion constellation rising in all its glory, painted across the heavens like a celestial firestorm. This is a blend of two worlds: the raw, silent stillness of the snowy peaks, and the glowing hydrogen gas and dust of deep space captured in intricate detail.

Cliffside Blooms Under The Milky Way 🤩

Standing on this rugged cliffside, surrounded by wild blooms and coastal silence, I felt completely still and alive. The scent of earth and salt lingered in the air, and ahead of me, the Milky Way stretched like a glowing river across the night.

I needed 2h of walking/hiking (with 27kg on my shoulders ) to enjoy the Night Sky under such conditions 😊 Don't give up on your goals.

A Cosmic Coastline ✨

We're entering into the best months to catch the Milky Way core and i'm so excited about what's going to come next !

Here is an image i took last May near the famous stairs made of rock. It's so cool to have such compositions accessible. I know i'm very lucky to live in the South of France. We have clear skies, sea and mountains.

This place is like 20 minutes away from home. Paradise Creek 🤩

Fire Sky Above Paradise Coast✨🌌

The night was crisp, the air tinged with the salty breeze of the sea. This place—untouched, wild, and breathtaking—felt like a hidden paradise, a world where time stood still beneath the vast, infinite winter sky. Being alone all night under such great conditions is grateful and i always enjoy every single secondes.

That night i had a few ideas but one big plan was to shoot Gum Nebula. But i didn't want to use a long focal lengh for that i really wanted to make sure the full Orion part could fit in the frame. So i decided to go very wide angle with my double setup ( 2 Nikon Z6A + TTartisan 11mm on my )

Anyways here is the result after struggling with WB. As you can see i had a strong Red Airglow and it's super rare from here. I managed to make it more pushy though.

Total Lunar Eclipse Over The White Cliffs 🌙

Today is the total lunar eclipse but the weather doesn't cooperate this time so here is the last time i could see and shoot 3 years ago.

A breathtaking celestial moment as the blood moon sets above snow-covered peaks of the Pyrenees's National Park. The shadow of Earth casts a warm copper hue over the moon, blending beautifully with the icy alpine landscape.
