My special collection of the week takes the opportunity to celebrate the advent of the by intentionally focusing on spreading good intentions for the new year of the water rabbit, gathering within it works clearly inspired by the main moral and ethical values, which, as the indispensable foundations of humankind, pursue the goal of achieving the common good, manifested in the genuineness of admiration, affection, self-love, friendship and support, and in the seriousness of tolerance, justice, freedom, etc.
For this 2023, I have chosen, as the cover of my committed collection, Peach's digital , which, titled "Do for love," depicts a half-length portrait taken from behind, having as its subject a young boy with a strong back, who, houses, in the aitance of his being, a writing-suggestion: "Do what you love." The suffused atmosphere of the work, illuminated in the upper part, in which it silhouettes the outline of the body, by a cold blue light, tending to violet in its diffusion on the left side, aims to invite the viewer to admire the boy from the top from the perfect roundness of his head, to descend, sinuously, to the lower part of his being, in which the "neon" fulcrum of the work materializes.
I think the artist is suggesting an important thought: during the year of the rabbit think about improving yourself, only later, approach others with respect, as each of us is struggling decently for our place in the world. Speaking of , on the other hand, the French photographer born in 1989 focuses mainly on the portrait genre, which she investigates with particular bright points of view aimed at highlighting psychedelic tendencies in pure 1960s and 1970s style.
What are your resolutions for the year of the ?🐇
