Here s'more Magic from the other night on the shores of Great Lake Huron, not only watching my best 1st views of CGs going INTO a body of water.... but also immortalizing them with my Nikon as well! Top it All off with it being WITH MY WIFEY after all these years, and ON Father's Day in a odd twist.

This image here a more realistic hue/tone of blues that we were watching the transition of the Blue Hr turn into night. I have a couple to show soon, that are an incredibly impressive 'orange' hue like you haven't seen in some time, somehow, too.....

.....and then there was this lifetime moment..... 3 weeks into ever have touched a DSLR camera in my Life! One of the most beautiful prolific storms of 2017, and most scenic of my Lifetime! With literally 100s of screaming CGs! 🤦🏼🙋🏼‍♂️

A recent bolt, in Iowa....

Side Note - even tho I've taken 10s of 1000s of pix now, I still haven't been lucky enough to capture a night image that includes wildlife in it..... looking at me..... I've managed to find the ways to set the stage kinda, by using the bolt's 'flash', but still haven't had a deer or anything noticeable.

The plight continues..... with a little bit of a lean on towards the Autumn ... when there might be a massive white-tail buck looking at me where I've stopped for the event....... 😊

'Ground Contact w/Leaders' - Original

Some people were asking about the version of the 'Ground Contact' image I posted recently, so here it is flaws and all! Free-handed thru the rained-on windshield and wipers in a puckering moment.... or 3! lol

I was on passenger side and told my wifey to stop and see if I could get the next bolt, as we were already 'blasting south' and splitting mesos. I knew it was coming, but I also knew on that topography we are very close to being a rod too. So, it is nerve-wracking at times, in the darkness of the night too.....

Maybe even crazier part is the ability to see 'Upwards Ground Leaders' if ya look close enough near the contact point - a rather rare achievement, even in , much less my own bar.

Then of course, what you can't see here..... Upper left of this pic... see that branch there? That's from another wicked bolt right nexto Vera's driver side out that way, which lit-up the ground right there too. Check that out now that you've gotten to view all of this image...... We pretty much split bolts here!

Some more of 'the Fury in the Plains'.....

In the front entrance of of a double-meso long hook right after sunset in central Kansas! A pic of me taking a pic of the Beast! It was funny having some people that didn't believe I was doing most of my imagery free-handed and spontaneous etc.... then I caught myself in the act by accident here! lol You can see the flash again in my eyes, and even in the camera lens itself...... in the mirror!

Single-image ! I'm on the passenger side here with my Vera driving.... I do have a very strong tripod, but sometimes being In My Elements like this, it's not such a smart thing to do out there and becoming a rod!

Pretty wild day in here; alot going on! If ya look even closer youll see a major hail dump going on to the right as 2 large mesos were interacting. And some more medium developing towards the left as well.......
