Croesus K**b #27/138 ✨🏔️

I feel equally excited and intimidated by the number of k***s along the West Coast, but Cresus K**b was an absolute stunner to kick things off.

We learnt that Croesus comes from an ancient king famous who was known for his wealth, and well we felt pretty rich ourselves standing on top of this k**b.
If you’re heading to the Paparoa Track this summer, a trip up Croesus K**b is a worthy side quest. We spent the night at Ces Clark Hut and had the best time exploring this ridiculously beautiful part of the country.

West Coast, we’ll be back. Lots. 🤙🏼

I think we should all stop walking the famous tracks for a minute and go somewhere we haven’t already seen 400 times on Instagram…

Turns out not knowing what a place looks like before you go there is actually pretty fun… The girls and I went to Mt Sunday Bivvy over the weekend to bag Olivia Partridge | Hut Bagger 🏔️ 169th hut. What a heckling legend!

I had never heard of it before and knew basically nothing except for what the topo map could tell us, and we were so blown away by the whole thing. Such a good little loop over Mt Sunday and Mt Riley, incredible bush and these epic big rocks we have to scrabble up and around, and then the cutest wee 2 bunk biv. What a stunner, can highly recommend.

Although, slightly ironic that I’m now posting photos of it on Instagram and telling you how good it is… so I’m clearly part of the problem 😂🙈

What a way to kick off our winter roadie! Such an awesome and easily accessible K**b in Christchurch. I’m sure the views on a clear day are stunning, but it was pretty special being above the clouds 😍

A little jealous of those that get to call this their local k**b… what a stunner!

It’s so cool how much the seasons can change a place ❄️
A track that feels so familiar can just completely change with a layer of fresh snow!
