Photos from Lindsey + Chris’ unforgettable Portugal elopement 🤍

When Lindsey and Chris first reached out, I had a feeling this one would be special.

As fate would have it, they chose April for their elopement month — one of the most magical times of year in Portugal. The countryside is lush, the light is soft, and every corner feels alive. It also happened to be the month my baby was due, so I knew from the very beginning that I wouldn’t be the one behind the camera on their day.

But I also knew exactly who I wanted to trust with it.

Laura immediately came to mind. I had followed her work for years and always admired the way she connects with couples — gently, intentionally, and with so much heart. The way she photographs love feels deeply familiar to my own approach, so asking her felt like the easiest decision.

When I shared the idea with Lindsey and Chris, they embraced it wholeheartedly.

And what a beautiful day it turned out to be.

We crafted an experience that felt true to them from start to finish — a slow morning wandering through the fairytale forests of Sintra, windswept moments by the ocean, wine among the vineyards, and finally sailing from Cascais toward Lisbon as the sun began to dip lower in the sky.

As I sorted through the photographs afterward, I could feel the joy, the connection, and the ease that the three of them shared throughout the day. Every image tells a piece of their story.

Seeing it all come together filled my heart with so much gratitude. Sometimes things don’t unfold exactly as planned, but they end up exactly as they’re meant to.

Small Wedding in Portugal • Sintra & Ericeira ✨🇵🇹

Happy anniversary to these two funny, loving humans who brought all their favorite people to Portugal for the dreamiest intimate wedding celebration.

From slow moments together, to quality time with family before getting ready, every part of the day felt so relaxed and meaningful. Their ceremony took place in the magical garden of their Airbnb in Sintra — which once was a monastery!

Followed by an amazing dinner in Ericeira at .ericeira

As a German I truly enjoy the speeches that Americans can give. It’s such a difference to German weddings ( not all but many ) aren’t very good at giving speeches a bit stiff I would say 🫠

Happy anniversary to Lauren & Jess!
From cozy morning moments to an unforgettable winter sports elopement in Chamonix, France, you two turned adventure into your love story. 🏔️

These two winter sport lovers started the day getting ready together with close friends, hit the iconic cable car up Aiguille du Midi for jaw-dropping alpine views, then skied and snowboarded down pristine slopes before saying their vows surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
With friends crafting their ceremony arch, heartfelt speeches, champagne popped with skis, a surprise homemade cake, and epic après-ski celebrations at La Folie Douce, this was truly the ultimate snow elopement adventure.

Here’s to love on the mountain tops, intimate vows, sunny snowy skies, and many more winters together.

I am deeply grateful for this past year—for the people who are part of my life and for all the beautiful places I was fortunate enough to visit. It has truly been a journey, and I feel incredibly thankful for my small business, which allows me to meet inspiring individuals who courageously follow their dreams. Your stories continually motivate me and strengthen my trust in life.

I am especially grateful to all the couples who place their trust in me and my work. It means more than I can express, and I truly hope that some day our paths will cross again, somewhere in this beautiful world.
