A few days ago, I had the privilege of being part of the very first edition of THE GALLERY.
For years, photography has been almost entirely connected to weddings for me. Human emotion, celebration, movement, beauty, fleeting moments.
This project allowed me to step somewhere far more personal and introspective.
The series I presented explored places that quietly shaped my memories growing up in France. Forgotten roadside restaurants, empty spaces, buildings suspended somewhere between abandonment and permanence. Places that may seem ordinary at first glance, yet still carry an atmosphere impossible to fully explain.
I wanted to create images that felt like fragments of memory rather than documentation. Something cinematic, almost unsettling at times, but deeply familiar at the same time.
What made this experience truly special was not only exhibiting the work itself, but also sharing conversations with so many talented artists, photographers and creatives who all brought completely different interpretations and sensitivities to the exhibition.
A sincere thank you to the entire team behind this first edition for creating a space where photography could exist outside of trends, algorithms and performance, and simply become a medium for emotion, atmosphere and personal expression again.
And thank you as well to everyone who took the time to come, look carefully, and connect with the work. It truly meant a lot.
