In the heart of the city,

a living canvas of societal ills.

Her origins were shrouded in mystery,

Society had already fallen under her spell.
People surrendered their principles to partake in her extravagance.
Easy a kiss, you'd find a way to suppress your old beliefs.

Even an old soul, wise and weathered, could not fight the pull of the new world.
The girl, once a symbol of society's decay, now held sway over their souls.

Desire blurred the lines between right and wrong.
In a city where extravagance reigned, morality had become the prisoner, and desire, the master.
