My first wedding this year from back in April at Manoir De Longeveau with Caroline and Ben . Starting off with a few portraits of the beautiful couple.
After a year of setting up my business it was fab to start a full season this year. I enjoyed it so much and was a fab confirmation that I was doing something I always wanted to do.
I’m mixing in a bit of film with my digitals so see if you can see which one was the film…

Wow I love black and white photographs! This was the last proposal I photographed in Bordeaux on New Year’s Eve. Super cold but that seems lovely now with the temps in the high thirties!

This is the portrait session we had after the proposal in Jardin Public. Darcy and Tim, from the US, were just sooooo happy and I don’t think they ever stopped laughing. Rumour has it they still are…

A love story for the ages that surely should be made into a movie. Two wonderful people brought together from literally opposite sides of the world and took a chance on each other.

My word the speeches were emotional and actually had this soppy fool shedding a couple of tears. Oh and Holly’s dress was the softest wedding dress ever. It was dreamy!

Holly and Ryan’s wedding was simply amazing and I very proud to show a few images from the preview I sent a couple of days after.

Evening engagement sessions tend to work well because there is nothing to rush toward.

Emma, Nick and I walked, chatted, stopped when it feels right, and let things unfold at their own pace.

Documentary photography is often misunderstood as standing back and hoping for the best.

In reality, most of the work happens before anything feels like it is slipping away on a wedding day.

Quiet guidance, small adjustments, and knowing when to step in or stay out of the way are what keep the day feeling calm rather than chaotic.

After the day has passed, couples often talk about how fast it all felt.

Certain moments come and go before you really have time to take them in, simply because there is so much happening around you.

I spend a lot of time watching what unfolds beyond the obvious moments, so those quieter parts of the day don’t disappear unnoticed.

Not everything from a wedding needs to be perfect to be worth keeping.

This was taken on an Instax at the end of the day, just after golden hour and just before the heat of the dance floor.

I see this a lot at weddings in France. The moments people come back to aren’t always the polished ones. They’re the ones that feel held onto, even if just briefly.
