AIRBUS 🇫🇷

📸 The First. The Legend.

The very aircraft that started it all — the test ✈️ Airbus A380-800 MSN 001.
This is the plane that took the first-ever A380 flight and carved its place in aviation history.

It pushed the limits — testing aerodynamics, onboard systems, performance, and the handling of the world’s largest passenger aircraft 🌍.
Every production A380 owes a part of its story to this very aircraft.

Today, it rests in silence on the tarmac 🌙
It hasn’t flown in some time, and 2026 will likely bring just a few final test flights ✈️ — a symbolic closure for the plane that began a legend.

Captured at night — without any extra lighting pointed at the aircraft ✨
The fuselage glows only from the airport infrastructure in the background, giving the photo a raw, calm, and almost cinematic feel 🎬.

This is not just a plane.
It’s a living piece of aviation history. 👑

ROYAL AIR FORCE 🇬🇧

A special visitor was recently captured at the airport in Toulouse — the impressive Boeing C-17A Globemaster III operated by the Royal Air Force 🇬🇧✈️.

The 18-year-old heavy airlifter arrived in Toulouse on February 19, 2026 from Terceira in the Azores and departed the very next day for Lyon. The aircraft was photographed while taxiing to runway 32R, offering a perfect opportunity to admire the details of this massive strategic transport aircraft 📸🔥.

The C-17A is one of the most capable military transport aircraft in the world 🌍. Designed for rapid strategic airlift, it can carry troops, vehicles, helicopters, and humanitarian cargo across intercontinental distances. What makes it truly impressive is its ability to operate from relatively short and austere runways — something not every aircraft of this size can do 💪.

Powered by four Pratt & Whitney F117-PW-100 turbofan engines, the Globemaster III produces enormous thrust, allowing it to carry payloads of up to 77 tons 🚛💨. Despite its size, it is highly maneuverable and can even perform tactical approaches and steep descents when required.

The Royal Air Force operates a fleet of C-17A aircraft from RAF Brize Norton, using them for global deployments, humanitarian missions, and support of NATO operations 🌐🤝. Over the years, these aircraft have played crucial roles in evacuation missions and disaster relief efforts worldwide.

✈️ Aircraft Facts – Boeing C-17A Globemaster III
• 🛫 Manufacturer: Boeing
• 🇺🇸 Country of origin: United States
• ⚙️ Engines: 4 × Pratt & Whitney F117-PW-100 turbofans
• 📦 Maximum payload: approx. 77,500 kg (171,000 lb)
• 🌍 Range (with payload): over 4,400 km
• 👨‍✈️ Crew: 3 (pilot, co-pilot, loadmaster)
• 🛬 Special capability: Short and semi-prepared runway operations
• 🏗️ Role: Strategic and tactical military airlift
