It’s a big day for Penny Wolin’s Guest Register. A wonderful write-up in the NYT Book Review holiday edition. Could hardly be better. Well deserved, the book is one of a kind.
In 1975, Penny Wolin moved into a hotel on Hollywood Boulevard and started taking pictures of her fellow residents. “Guest Register” collects her work.

Peggy came to our Photography Master Retreat in 2018 with at least great projects which she wanted to publish and share but it is true that the three mentors immediately fell in love with the Guest Register project. Peggy worked relentlessly during our one week retreat in the South of France to reshape it and resuscitate it.
She worked relentlessly after the retreat, to make the project come to life with a beautiful design, image sequencing and great personal texts.
She also engaged the help of fellow alumni Barry Munger who informed us of the write-up and wrote great words: "Be bold, work hard, collaborate, refine, laugh, but above all move forward — that TPMR spirit is potent stuff. » Thank you, we like to think it is potent stuff!
