POV: when you stop expecting overnight success… and you start enjoying the process.

I started studying photography in 2015, and for the next five years, I immersed myself in learning everything I could.

In 2022, I specialised in food photography, practicing every day and pushing my skills further.

For the past year, I’ve been lucky enough to work full-time with food & product photography.

Lesson learned ? Always believe in yourself—and trust the process.

💡 Top tip: Avoid refrigerating fresh fruit; constant temperature changes make them go bad faster.

🍓 Fun fact: Strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside—about 200 on each berry!

Looking at this image, which city or country does it remind you of ?

If Morocco came to mind — well done, that’s correct!

But why does this image instantly make us think of Morocco?

It comes down to the details: the warm terracotta background, the intricate patterns on the plates and bowls, the vibrant mix of blue and orange, and of course the multiple variety of shared dishes. These visual clues are all strongly linked to Moroccan culture and traditions.

Have you ever tried to recreate a holiday memory ? How did it go ?

💡 Top tip: When working with strong orange tones, balance them by adding cooler tones — such as blue ceramics, teal fabrics, or even touches of green. This contrast not only creates harmony in the image but also helps the warm colours stand out even more.

🍞 Fun fact: Bread in Morocco is considered sacred. If dropped accidentally, it must be picked up quickly, kissed, and placed to one side.

If you could set the mood for your dinner party – would you choose light & fresh or dark & dramatic?

For this setup, we kept the styling simple and minimalistic, but paired it with a vibrant backdrop. That pop of colour transformed the mood completely – proof that the background is just as important as the hero of the image. Shot in natural sunlight for that lively, airy feel.

💡Top tip: Sketch your composition beforehand – it helps keep your vision clear and ensures every element supports the shot.

🍾 Fun fact: there are about 49 million bubbles in a single bottle of champagne !

If you could only pick one, which would it be – cake, scone or macaron ?

One of the beautiful setups we styled during my food photography styling course in London. It was such a great experience finally meeting Emma Dunham Food Photography in person after following her academy since January 2023, and working alongside Liz, her food stylist.

Top tip: When styling food, grouping items in odd numbers (3, 5, 7…) creates a more natural look for the eye.

Fun fact: the classic Victoria sponge is one of the first recipes taught in British schools – simple but iconic !

Taste of Paris (part 1)👩🏼‍🍳📸

Back at Taste of Paris for the second time, and honestly, I love this event more each year.

There’s something special about wandering through beautiful food stalls at Grand Palais, meeting chefs, tasting everything, and capturing the energy of it all.

No pressure, no brief — just shooting what I love, surrounded by what inspires me.

Le Paris Café Festival ☕️

Last week was my third time in a row at the festival! It was so fun meeting passionate coffee roasters and tasting all kinds of coffees. I’m definitely starting to appreciate the world of coffee more with each visit!

💚 My highlight this year: discovering , a Japanese matcha brand that’s been around since 1888! I picked up their matcha powder and matcha chocolate (because how could I not?).

Aiya is all about tradition, quality, and sustainability—they work closely with family farmers in Japan to produce premium organic matcha that’s as smooth as it is sustainable.

Are you more of a coffee or matcha person? Or maybe you prefer tea or hot chocolate? Let me know!

Dreaming about this divine cheesecake from « The Cheesecake Project » in Amsterdam. Still can’t get over how silky and rich it was.

Such a joy catching up with Eva — who also happened to be the perfect hand model for the day!

Fun fact: The first recorded cheesecake recipe dates all the way back to ancient Greece… and it was once served to Olympians as an energy boost before the games!

Clove ☕️

A charming, laptop-free coffee shop in Montmarte that invites you to to slow down and truly enjoy the moment 🌿

While sipping on an incredible hot chocolate made with real chocolate—rich and full of flavor—I couldn’t resist capturing the beauty of this croissant aux amandes 🍫

The experience was made even more special by the handmade ceramics created by .ceramics adding a unique, and personal touch ✨

If you’re a bakery in Paris, I’d love to connect and photograph your creations!

I’m happy to announce…

I’ll be working as a full time product photographer for an international supermarket “Picnic” ☺️

1 year and 10 months ago, I moved to Paris with the dream of becoming a full time food photographer.

After working part-time as a freelance photographer, part-time babysitter, and dog walker, my time has finally come!!

I’m really proud of what I have accomplished so far in my life, especially overcoming the language barrier at the start. It feels surreal.

I will be spending my first half of the week in Amsterdam, and then the other half in Paris. I finally get to do things I love in life; travel and photography.

Here’s to the next, exciting chapter of my life 🥂🥳

Is it macaron or macaroon ?

I always smile when I hear this question.

These sweet treats may sound similar, but they’re worlds apart in flavour and texture.

Macarons are delicate meringue-based cookies, made with almond flour and are often filled with ganache or buttercream.

Macaroons are rich, chewy delights made with shredded coconut that satisfy a completely different kind of sweet tooth.

So, which one do you crave more ?

POV: You spot waiters bringing out these stunning meringues from across the room and dash over to snap them before they vanish into hungry hands! 📸🍬

In a perfect world, I would’ve loved to style this shot, removing the distractions from the background.

But sometimes, photographing an event isn't about picture-perfect setups; it's about capturing the moment.

For example, in this moment, I adore how the light cascades over these meringues, creating beautiful shadows from right to left.
