Community engagement at best!
On 29th November 2025, Rewa Roots officially opened a refurbished community hall and a brand-new mini library in Matanimoli – a milestone in their mission to empower communities through education and environmental sustainability.
This youth-led initiative tackled real challenges: limited access to library services and the need to boost early literacy for children. With support from Cultural Vistas through the Young Pacific Leaders Program (grant funding) and a generous carton of books from the US Youth Council, the team created a space for learning, training, and growth.
And they’re not stopping here – a new project in Tailevu is coming this June, with a broader focus that goes beyond education and environment. Rewa Roots is currently working on an exciting rebranding journey to expand their impact across multiple sectors, so stay tuned for future updates as they continue to grow and evolve.
