FUNERAL NOTICE
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Alena Ucu Nakita, who peacefully departed this life after a short illness at Lautoka Hospital.
Alena was a devoted believer, a woman of unwavering faith, and someone whose love for God shone brightly through her words, prayers, and actions. She touched many lives with her kindness, humility, and compassionate spirit. Her steadfast commitment to serving the Lord and encouraging others in their walk of faith will forever remain a cherished memory to all who knew her.
She is now reunited with her beloved parents, Rusiate Nakita and Silovate Nakita, who have both gone before her into eternal rest. She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Kini Nakita and Sunia Nageli, together with her extended family, church family, relatives, and friends, all of whom mourn the loss of a precious daughter, sister, and friend.
The funeral service for Alena Ucu Nakita will be held on Thursday, 18 June, at her homeland of Nabila Village.
Her body will be brought from Lautoka Hospital on Thursday morning and will rest for a while at her family home in Nabila, allowing family and loved ones the opportunity to pay their final respects. Thereafter, she will be taken to the Nabila New Way Church, where a church service celebrating her life and faith will be held, followed by her burial.
Though our hearts ache with sadness, we take comfort in the promise of God's Word that those who die in Christ shall live forever. Alena fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Her earthly journey has ended, but her eternal journey with her Saviour has just begun.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." – 2 Timothy 4:7
Rest in eternal peace, Tai Ucu. Your faith, love, and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Until we meet again.
