Today, our hearts are filled with both sorrow and gratitude as we remember a man whose life was a true reflection of God's love, faithfulness, and grace.
Taniela Nacagilevu Vocevoce was more than a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was the pillar of his family, a source of strength, wisdom, and comfort to all who knew him. His children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces were deeply loved, prayed for, and encouraged by him throughout his life. His gentle presence, kind words, and unwavering love created memories that will remain in their hearts forever.
To many, he was not only family but a mentor, a counselor, and a spiritual father. He had a heart that genuinely cared for people and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.
Above all, he was a man of God. His faith was not merely spoken , it was lived every day. He faithfully served God's Kingdom with humility and dedication, never seeking recognition but always seeking to glorify the Lord. He loved the Church deeply and would willingly sacrifice his time and energy for the work of God.
As a former Nadi Methodist Division Chief Steward, he served with honor, integrity, and a servant's heart. His leadership and commitment to God's work impacted many lives and strengthened the faith of those around him.
While we grieve his passing, we take comfort in knowing that he has gone home to be with the Lord he faithfully served. The hands that worked tirelessly for God's Kingdom are now at rest. The voice that prayed for many has now joined the heavenly choir. The heart that loved so deeply now rests in perfect peace.
His chair may be empty, his voice may be silent, but his legacy will never fade. His love, faith, sacrifices, and godly example will continue to live on through his family, his church, and every life he touched.
