Last week our photographer skied in to the offline wilderness. Temps were freezing -30c but the silence was worth the frozen toes.

This is a friendly reminder to get out there every now and then, so you don’t have to turn your head or phone over for the good-old views.

The brand strategy for Old Town Raahe, designed in cooperation with and , naturally included a visual identity.

It draws inspiration from Raahe’s rich history, as well as the surrounding coastal nature and old wooden buildings – A versatile colour palette muted by the touch of northern sea winds and sunshine, a traditional take on the logotype in contrast with straight forward graphic shapes.

We designed a brand strategy for Old Town Raahe – a unique northern coastal town full of culture and history – in cooperation with and the Old Town Raahe community.

The work consisted of brand workshops and a questionnaire, on which a visual identity, message and story, as well as photos and videos were designed.
