A massive thank you to the team for an unforgettable filming week in the Arctic of Finnish Lapland. Filming the Gemini Arctic Adventure Rovaniemi 2026 has been an absolute career highlight, capturing four days of activities with 13 content creators from around the world.

We covered the full spectrum of Arctic adventure, from tracking high speed snowmobiles and husky sledding to the quiet lakes of Lapland for ice fishing. The experience went to another level when we boarded the .explorer.icebreaker I stood out on the ice, flying the drone to capture the creators taking their first ever polar plunge off the back of the boat into the frozen sea.

Every moment was a total adventure and a reminder of why I love what I do. It was a privilege to witness 13 creators and the Google team experiencing the magic of the North while we worked to capture it all.

Shoutout to our amazing guests and a huge shoutout to .chomacka for capturing these behind the scenes shots of me in my element. I’m so grateful to have worked with such an amazing team in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. A place I’m proud to call home.

Ruka is easily one of our favorite places in Finland to capture. This trip felt even more special with our new explorer, seeing these familiar landscapes through a fresh pair of puppy eyes made all the difference.

On our way home, we stopped at one of our most loved locations, Riisitunturi National Park. Watching Tupla navigate the trails for the very first time was a highlight we won’t soon forget.

Seeing his curiosity spark in these wide open spaces reminds us why we share these adventures. It was his first time witnessing the magic of Riisitunturi, but it certainly won’t be his last.

The quiet trails of Perunkajärventie.

While these landscapes offer a sense of deep stillness, the reality behind the lens was much more lively today.

We spent the day here celebrating our puppy Tupla’s 6 month birthday with his biggest challenge yet.

We wanted to see how he’d handle a longer trail, and we’ve discovered he has officially graduated to mini hikes! He handled the distance and the terrain so comfortably, it’s amazing to see his stamina and confidence growing with every mile.

Our little explorer is becoming a true hiking partner.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Since opening the production company, business has really gotten in the way of my personal work, but this year I’m planning to schedule time each week to change that. I want to get back to capturing the wildlife, the nature, and the land that I love here in Lapland.

A few weeks ago we went up to Pyhä Luosto and stayed in a tiny dollhouse in −38°C. We’re laughing about it now, and our puppy Tupla absolutely loves the cold, he is a Finnish Lapphund after all. We saw aurora on the evening we spent there. My camera gear held up well in the deep freeze, and so did our toes.
