A trailer for the new series 🐻

It was a special moment for my first time ever to photograph and film the large carnivore species in their natural habitat and environment in Eastern Finland.

As most of the 95% of photos and even documentaries of this species here in Finland were taken in the commercial hide, which offers the best opportunity to capture the animals by using lures/bait

Bears are potentially dangerous animals as it wild and must be treated with the highest degree of caution and respect at all times…
The images featured in this video were captured with a zoom lens of substantial power and from a safe distance.

Courtship of the great crested grebe

Breeding pairs of the great crested grebe tend to be territorial. They first establish their territory on a waterbody by calling to each other across the water. The mating ritual of the great crested grebes begins with the female honking and purring to attract a mate or to renew an existing pair bond. Once paired, their elaborate mating rituals involve a series of calls, after which they dive into the water like a pair of adept synchronised swimmers. They resurface carrying tufts of w**d in their beaks and patter on the surface. Once the ritual starts, it appears almost like the pair are mirroring each other.
