I just noticed that i haven't shared work here in a while, so I'm going to try to catch up with recent projects and assignments.
A few month ago i was commissioned by French newspaper La Croix to take Sofi Oksanen Official portrait for an upcoming interview. This is the kind of gig i use to have a lot back when i was living in Strasbourg. Usually you are working with a journalist, but this time the interview was done remotely. The time allocated for press portrait is usually more limited than with a corporate one, so when they told me i would have 30min for this i was more than happy ☺️
It had to happen in Kansallisteatteri before the opening night, so i visited and scouted for locations a few weeks prior and found a nice spot with a soft window light. On shooting day i noticed that the sun was also reflected on some metal roofing elements on the other side of the street, giving a nice mood to the portrait.
